Semester in the North

Brief description:

Join students in the Northern ENCS Program and spend a semester at Yukon University in Whitehorse, getting hands on experience and credit towards your degree.

Eligibility:

Open to ENCS, Forestry, BA students (limited spaces available). Specific course credits to be
determined in conjunction with your advisor.

Costs of Participation

Flights: approximately $600 return

Housing (Yukon University): approximately $550/month (subject to availability; prospective students should submit YC housing applications as soon as possible as on-campus housing is extremely limited)

• Yukon University Campus Housing

Tuition: Standard University of Alberta tuition fees and non-instructional fees apply (assessed at off-campus rates)

Yukon University fees: Approximately $200 per term

How to Apply:

Application Process: Complete and submit an online application. Applications will be
reviewed as received, and spaces assigned on a first come basis.

Application Deadlines:

Deadline for Winter term: October 15th

Deadline for Fall term: March 27th
